Vintage pins make great statements. Collectors often have favorite themes like flowers, dogs, musical instruments and fruit. And, it’s always nice to add to a collection.
I’ve never set out specifically to pick up a pin. I randomly stumble across them when doing something else. This time my washing machine broke forcing a quick trip to the laundromat. I found the flower while waiting for my laundry to spin out. There was a small thrift shop across the street and a great place to pass the time.
It’s a beauty. I will put it on my jean jacket to be worn on the cooler, summer nights.
